Courteous, Friendly, Personable & Reliable Removals Staff
Move It Men Removals have been established since 2002 and owner Kelli Walker is a qualified special needs support worker with enhanced CRB check status. The majority of the removals business at Move It Men Removals is referral or repeat customers.
Kelli says “If you are anxious or concerned about any aspect of your move you can call me at any time for advice and reassurance.”
Prior to setting up Move It Men Removals, Kelli has also worked within the postal service and is also a qualified decorator.
Customer Focused Philosophy
All staff at Move It Men Removals are CRB checked, smart, uniformed and carefully selected to fit in with our customer focused company philosophy. Kelli says “In addition to the CRB check, I think it’s vitally important that our staff represent our company well, they need to have the right kind of personality for this work. I also ensure that they would be welcome in my own home, as they need to establish the customer’s trust and confidence.”
Luton Vans & 7.5t Trucks Available
Move It Men have three Luton vans. These are 3.5t LWB, Iveco Lutons. We also use 7.5t trucks but these tend to be for long distance of large scale removals. These larger 7.5t trucks can sometimes alienate new neighbours by blocking the road as you move in, and sometimes have difficulty accessing narrow roads or streets. Move It Men Removals usually send one van twice or two vans, depending on distance and customer preference.
A Comprehensive Removals Service – But
Move It Men Removals comprehensive service includes most removal tasks, but there are some things even WE won’t do for our customers – even though we have been asked….
No livestock or household pets in the vans, we have had requests to move goats, sheep and even a snake in a tank. Cages yes, Critters No…!
We also have to stipulate ‘no humans in the back of the van’; we were once asked to take a Grandmother in the van, strapped into her armchair….!
We will move Bowels
One interesting assignment we have had from the NHS was to move a giant inflatable bowel from an NHS location in Bolton, to a display area on Bury Market, where the NHS was holding a Bowel Cancer Awareness Day. The NHS took advantage of our highly flexible working hours, we had the giant bowel on place and working by 9.00 on a Saturday morning.
